Just as medical and dental practices and techniques evolve to better treat patients, insurance policies are re-worked and re-invented to provide an increased scope of cover for doctors and dentists.
PSA Insurance has improved its insurance policies to provide better cover, and greater security, for medical and dental practitioners.
“We are now providing an improved, more comprehensive policy: basically a much broader scope of cover and for a limited time we are offering practitioners 13 months cover for a 12-month premium on all new business placed with PSA Insurance,” Lidia Siljanoski Insurance Broker for PSA Insurance says.
“There are a number of basics that a business pack policy should cover. This includes cover for building, contents, stock and business interruption against perils such as fire, storm, impact, malicious damage, vandalism and flood, for example,” she says.
Practitioners should ensure that their business insurance policy provides cover for Accidental Damage. In the event that surgery equipment being used is accidentally damaged, the policy will respond. Accidental Damage provides a broader scope of cover than a Defined Events cover, particularly where equipment is dropped or lost.
PSA Insurance is in a really strong position as we have the flexibility to design a cover specific to your individual needs. You can buy a higher level of cover than the standard ‘off the shelf’ policy.
“Just remember that it is important that all Practitioners or anyone who has a financial interest in the business and or property that occupies and operates the business must be noted as the `Insured’ on the policy, and that if you consult at more than one location, that too is noted on the policy.”
“PSA Insurance is not restricted to just business insurance either”, Lidia says. “We can look after your personal insurances too, that includes your home, contents, personal property, investment properties, farms, motor vehicles and travel insurance. It is important to note that business activities are not covered under your householder’s policy. That’s why it’s so important to take out separate insurance that is specifically designed for your business.”
