PSA Insurance offers three types of private motor insurance cover:

• Comprehensive Private Motor cover
• Fire, Theft and Third Party Liability
• Third Party Liability cover

Comprehensive Private Motor Cover

PSA has sourced through Lumley Insurance this Comprehensive Private Motor Insurance policy which provides the the following exclusive insurance benefits:

• Vehicle Hire Following Accident or a Theft

If your vehicle is damaged, requiring repair or is stolen you are entitled to a maximum of 14 days vehicle hire (or less if your vehicle is repaired before then). We will pay vehicle hire costs from the date your vehicle is taken to the repairer or found.

• Replacement Vehicle Following Total Loss

Replacement of a new vehicle after a total loss, within the first two years of its original registration and you are the original registered owner and you are the original registered owner.

• Window Glass Replacement

Your policy now covers replacement of all vehicle window glass. We allow one free windscreen claim per annum without the application of an excess or the loss of No Claim Bonus (NCB).  This is not applicable if there is claimable body damage to the vehicle arising out of the incident.

• Rating One Protection

If you provide evidence that you are entitled to the maximum no claim bonus (NCB) rating (e.g. Rating One) you will be entitled to one claim that is your fault (or deemed to be your fault). This option is not available if the period of insurance is less than 12 months.

OTHER TYPES OF PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLE COVER AVAILABLE

Fire, Theft and Third Party Liability Cover
Limits the loss or damage cover to your vehicle to that caused by fire or theft. It also provides legal liability cover for loss or damage to someone else’s property or compensation for death or bodily injury caused to persons where you are held to be legally liable as a result of an accident caused by, or arising out of, the use of your vehicle.  Cover up to $20,000,000. Subject to conditions and exclusions of policy.

Third Party Liability Cover
Only provides the legal liability cover for loss or damage to someone else’s property (for example, the third party vehicle). It also provides cover for death or bodily injury caused to persons where you are held to be legally liable  as a result of an accident caused by, or arising out, of the use of your vehicle. Cover up to $20,000,000. Subject to conditions and exclusions of policy.
